Have to love it when Muslim apologists like http://stfuislamophobes.tumblr.com/ take something I post and completely invent a whole story for it that wasn’t even in my post at all. Great how people love to jump on people for being “Islamophobic” the moment that a Muslim country is even mentioned. I used to have a bit of respect for that page but it seems like every time they come anywhere near one of my posts they invent their own image, it’s as if they didn’t even look at the picture at all. Muslims seriously need to take a little bit of criticism without jumping to the “phobia” card the moment they are mentioned. Makes me wish I had more opportunity to criticize Muslims more consider how insecure they are about their own flimsy excuse for a religion.
How could I have never thought of this?

Simple answer would probably be that nuns, now days, make that choice on their own, where as Muslim girls are forced into the decision with no regard for what they want. Forcing someone to do something regardless of their will is oppression.

Alright, so for those of you that may be new to following me. I do rant from time to time. Chances are this one is not going to a very popular one and may lose me some followers. With today being 9/11 though all throughout the internet people are sharing their thoughts and memories of this day. I’m going to speak my peace and although some may not like it, that’s never held me back from being honest. This is a fairly impromptu rant and I hope to keep it somewhat short.
First off the biggest thing to remember on this day is all the people that unnecessarily lost their lives. A total of over 3,000 people lost their lives. That is the saddest part of the whole instance and the main thing that needs to be remembered. The memory of the tragedy and the people that perished should never be forgotten.
With that being said though I believe that most of the people that died in those attacks would be ashamed to know what their deaths have been used to justify. A war in Iraq that only now is showing signs of ending. A war in Afghanistan that who knows if we will ever “win”. The death of thousands of US soldiers and innocent civilians in both countries. Turning large portions of this country into “Islamophobes”. Using their memories to justify further acts of hate and prejudice. To use their deaths as a way of justifying further death. I can’t help but feel this is not what these people would want their deaths to lead to.
I also think that we need to never stop asking about what really happened. We don’t know all the answers of the events on that day and maybe never will. We don’t know why tower 7 collapsed. We don’t know why the buildings fell in a controlled demolition pattern. We don’t know what happened to the planes that supposedly crashed into the pentagon and flight 93. There are many many events on that day that have no explanation, but need one. We know there are people that have these answers but based on the laughing stock that was the “9/11 committee” chances are we will never have them.
There are hundreds of other of questions that can be asked about the events of that day so I won’t bother to list them here. I’ve been told I’m unpatriotic and anti-American for the fact that I want to question what really happened. I am the type of person that examines events from a logical and reasonable stand point. The events of those days, the way they’ve been explained to us, aren’t logical. They don’t make sense, and to simply ignore asking the questions and accepting their deaths without knowing the true facts of the circumstances is disrespectful of their memory.
As I said I’ll try and keep this brief, and as I said I in no way want to disrespect the memory of so many who lost their lives. Every year though on this day, I remember the fear the country felt, the sadness we shared, and the ensuing madness that followed. There is no reason not to question the events of those day because as I said, they don’t make sense. I chose to not only remember all the people who died, but to still have the conviction to stand up and say “Why?” If anything, I feel this makes me more patriotic and more American, to always seek answers to the truth no matter what. I guess that’s just how I see things.
