Due to constant misunderstanding with my name I feel the need to change my intro. I am hateful, hateful of religion. I hate what religion does to people and that people use it as an excuse to not think. I have spent many years of my life as an Atheist and have learned to handle my emotions, but no other word quite describes how I feel towards religion short of hate. I am outspoken, open minded, and will share my opinion. If you're looking for someone who will always agree with you, that won't be me.

This is something good for non-believers and Atheists to keep in mind as well. Never be afraid to challenge yourself and never be afraid to listen to the other side when it is worth while. I don’t jump on every piece of religious garbage I have recommended to me but I love reading well thought out, educated, and well written ideas from believers as well. If  you stop challenging yourself, you stop growing mentally.

Just a question…

So pulling out an idea that has been out there for a while to get people’s opinions on it. It was originally put forward by Richard Dawkin in The God Delusion. The idea of an anti-Pascal’s wager:

Suppose we grant that there is indeed some small chance that God exists. Nevertheless, it could be said that you will lead a better, fuller life if you bet on his not existing, than if you bet on his existing and therefore squander your precious time on worshiping him, sacrificing to him, fighting and dying for him, etc.

Just wanted to put it out there to see what people’s opinions on it are, any thoughts?
