Due to constant misunderstanding with my name I feel the need to change my intro. I am hateful, hateful of religion. I hate what religion does to people and that people use it as an excuse to not think. I have spent many years of my life as an Atheist and have learned to handle my emotions, but no other word quite describes how I feel towards religion short of hate. I am outspoken, open minded, and will share my opinion. If you're looking for someone who will always agree with you, that won't be me.

Question with 8 notes

Anonymous asked: what do you think about the Illuminati? and free masons, conspiracy theories, and the like? this is probably a stupid question, but you're very articulate and well spoken, so i'd love to hear your opinion

The idea of an Illuminate basically says that there is some kind of shadow government that secretly controls the world. I don’t think those that control the world stay shadows, they really don’t hide that they are able to do it. Many of the most influential international bankers and members of the world bank don’t hide their identity and many people are surprised to find out how much sway and pull over the world these people actually have. There is no need for a conspiracy, they show their faces rather publicly.

I have actually been a fan of Free Masons and the Odd Fellows and other groups like that for quite a long time. I fairly recently came across a rather interesting and rare assortment of Free Mason books and documents. They are really nothing more than a secretive Christian cult. They have their ceremonies and various ideas but it is largely all just a different Christian flavor. I’ve read many of the documents and books and they have no real special knowledge at all, simply a deep devotion to certain aspects of Christianity and a silly penchant for ceremony. People like to think that since they chose to be secretive that they must be hiding something special, sadly they really aren’t, I had hoped they were too.

There is usually a small basis or semblance of truth to each conspiracy theory, at least most of them. The problem is that people like to imagine and expand upon these ideas in fantastic and unrealistic ways to make it a more interesting or more compelling stories. The 100% truth may be very difficult to peg down in a lot of these cases but it is doubtful that either side has a complete monopoly on it, the real truth is probably found somewhere in the middle.
