Due to constant misunderstanding with my name I feel the need to change my intro. I am hateful, hateful of religion. I hate what religion does to people and that people use it as an excuse to not think. I have spent many years of my life as an Atheist and have learned to handle my emotions, but no other word quite describes how I feel towards religion short of hate. I am outspoken, open minded, and will share my opinion. If you're looking for someone who will always agree with you, that won't be me.

Question with 12 notes

Anonymous asked: In regards to the Islam problem... The more I keep studying this "religion" the more I'm coming to the conclusion that it's more of a cult than a religion. These people are not only brainwashed from childhood, but they're forbidden to leave the religion. Try to leave and they kill you! Isn't this reason alone to take action against Islam? Bad enough they enforce all that frigging praying and cleansing BS every day for Life! With these idiotic doctrines, people in its grip believe anything.

The line between a cult and a religion is very thin, to the point that there is really very little to distinguish between the two except for the number of people that accept it. A few hundred people believing something ridiculous is laughed off as a cult, a few thousand doing it is looked at as a religion. Early Christianity was certainly a cult, Buddhism was more or less started as a cult, Mormonism to many people would still qualify as a cult. I think Islam does fit many of the criteria people would normally associate with being “cult like”.

Just take a look at some of the common practices. Praying several times a day, every single day, no matter what, is a constant reminder of the servitude they place themselves. They literally prostrate themselves in front of everyone several times a day to show their “faith”. They nearly always will follow the name Mohammad with “peace be upon him”, yet another constant reminder of the “holy” nature of this murdering pedophile. Reading the Quran is so extremely repetitive, page after page of “Allah knows best” or “Allah knows all”, it is like special pleading the way it over and over again has to remind us that “Allah knows, don’t doubt because oh there will be horrible things in store!”.

Islam has become the best religion for forcing its adherents in line. You’re not allowed to question Islam, you’re not allowed to leave Islam, you’re not allowed to speak badly about Islam or all of these things could literally cost you your life. They either want respect or they want fear, one is just as good as the other to them, and they are often willing to sacrifice their own lives and their own people for that cause. Each time someone is killed because of Islam, many of the fanatics hope that will cause the detractors to scurry away in to hiding and fear speaking out again and sadly for so many people it has worked. So many people will claim it wasn’t even because of Islam, how ridiculous! There are those within Islam that seek to do the world real harm, yet there are those that still refuse to believe it.
