Due to constant misunderstanding with my name I feel the need to change my intro. I am hateful, hateful of religion. I hate what religion does to people and that people use it as an excuse to not think. I have spent many years of my life as an Atheist and have learned to handle my emotions, but no other word quite describes how I feel towards religion short of hate. I am outspoken, open minded, and will share my opinion. If you're looking for someone who will always agree with you, that won't be me.

Question with 7 notes

Anonymous asked: wow, it's that time of the year again lol any thoughts about religion for this sept. 11th day?

It is hard for me to say much in relation to that day. I still have a lot of questions and issues with the whole situation that I haven’t been able to personally resolved. I used to be one of the “conspiracy” people but in the last few years I’ve backed off of that in to more of a middle ground where I don’t know exactly what to believe. I do know this though, that there are certain groups and factions throughout the world that hate us because of our way of life. They hate us for who we are and what we have, you can say it is our government they hate but the attacks of that day were directly on civilians. Average people like me and you who were killed in an unprovoked attack.

Of course any one of us could have a similar event happen at any time but the magnitude of it and the scale of it was really made us sit up and take notice. It was the first time since WWII that most of America had to worry about and think about their safety. It was a shocking reminder of the day and age we live in, the world we are a part of, and that there are many people that don’t like us.

It is an event that has changed the world forever and many events in the future will be shaped with that event in mind. I’ve heard many people attempt to downplay the part religion played in the whole ordeal. It is ridiculous to not admit and acknowledge what a strong part religious belief, faith, and fanaticism played in such an event. It should also be a brutal reminder of the extent that religious fanaticism can drive some people to, yet that point seemed to fall short for most people. All it takes is one fanatic with enough power, enough faith, and enough hatred to end up costing us all our lives, that is one of the many reasons I absolutely hate religion.
