Due to constant misunderstanding with my name I feel the need to change my intro. I am hateful, hateful of religion. I hate what religion does to people and that people use it as an excuse to not think. I have spent many years of my life as an Atheist and have learned to handle my emotions, but no other word quite describes how I feel towards religion short of hate. I am outspoken, open minded, and will share my opinion. If you're looking for someone who will always agree with you, that won't be me.

And I think I huge reason Atheists tend to be more pretentious then theists is because Atheists have realized that they don't need to "humble themselves before a higher power" or anything like that. Atheists realize that humans are really the highest power there is, and there's no need to humble ourselves before anyone. That's what I think anyway. ((But I don't mean to say that pretentious people can't be nice!))

I’m often blunt and straight to the point. I used to mince words and attempt to soften what I say in order to avoid possibly inadvertently offending someone, but I try not to do that as much anymore. The fact that I often take part in a debate that should have been either settled by now or dropped is why it can be frustrating. I have heard that the “burn out” rate amongst many Atheists bloggers and Atheists activists is fairly high and I am certainly not surprised. As frustrating as the debate against the close minded and the deeply religious can be the in fighting is even worse at times. Two Atheists strongly disagreeing on a topic can turn fairly nasty fairly quickly. I also don’t personally enjoy having strong disagreements with people I otherwise respect and appreciate, but I can have them and discuss them and move on. So often people just get heated in discussions.
