What that you can count on the most sincerely religious people to make the most ridiculous statements? Sadly it is entirely true. Even many of the most mundane religious statements would be completely nonsensical outside of a religious context. Would a sane person ever talk about someone who watches them every moment, knows their every thought, and judges their every action? You would think the person is completely paranoid and unstable, yet the moment someone says “god” does all of that they are considered faithful. Faith is not a virtue, it is a virus.
