Due to constant misunderstanding with my name I feel the need to change my intro. I am hateful, hateful of religion. I hate what religion does to people and that people use it as an excuse to not think. I have spent many years of my life as an Atheist and have learned to handle my emotions, but no other word quite describes how I feel towards religion short of hate. I am outspoken, open minded, and will share my opinion. If you're looking for someone who will always agree with you, that won't be me.

Question with 2 notes

Anonymous asked: Is it religious people you have a problem with or just religion in itself?

I try to keep my hate focused on religion itself. Within religion there are certainly a good number of people that look to spread and perpetuate this cycle of victimization that I hate. The entity of religion itself is this amorphous presence that is really the main focus of my emotion but it is important to look at the system that is in place that allows it to function.

The vast majority of religious people I absolutely do not hate, I don’t want to make it about hating people. The majority of them are victims themselves. It is impossible to deny though that there are those within the system that are doing a great deal of harm to others. That is something I can not support and can not be passive on either. I do hate religion as my main focus but religion can only continue on because of the people that push their garbage.
