Question with 6 notes
Anonymous asked: What exactly are you looking for in the way of proof that there is a god?
It is hard to say exactly what exactly could constitute proof but there are a good number of things I can imagine. If it was shown that prayer worked with any level of statistical significance. If there were wild changes to events and experiences that could only be attributed to some outside intervening force. If there was irreducible complexity in nature. If there was some type of signature in our DNA or RNA that showed the clear sign of a creator. If a particular religion showed a great advantage in life that was likely attributed to an intervening god. There are many others but since we have absolutely no proof it’s hard to imagine all the things that could substantiate proof. Unlike many believers though I can imagine, at least in principle, many things that could prove my lack of belief to be wrong.
