Question with 46 notes
Anonymous asked: You are a atheist.
A child is proof of a parent. Bread is proof of a baker.
A son is proof of a father, and creation is proof of a Creator.
God is real. God created us all with a conscience. Our conscience reveals or once revealed to us what was wrong and right. Our hearts tell us He is and as we do look at the universe we understand that only God could have created it.
Are you looking to fill the emptiness in your hear? Jesus is who are you looking for.
Not Drugs, Not Alcohol, Not Parties, Not Sex, or Hate.
It's Jesus. Everything we do in life we do to please ourselves.
Unconditional love is what we are looking for. When pleasure stops working and satisfying...you move to hate, and deeper into worse things.
But it is love, just love that is missing. Can someone love you enough,
can someone give me peace and it's Jesus all along. The one we ignore and
are against. So the day, that day when you feel like you need Him. When you hate your life. Jesus will say, "I've been waiting for you, I have something greater for you. A new life. I will be your God now, and you will be my son/or daughter. Then at that moment your life changes. You can't explain how, but you know that, that empty place I was looking for filled my soul and gave me what I have been longing for.
This message isn't only for you. But it is for everyone who doesn't believe. Who is heavy laden and burdened by life. The pressures can be tormenting but that's why Jesus is the way, because no other "god" has promised what He has, Has done what He has, has changed as many lives as He has. There is proof in peoples lives.
But there is always 1 problem and this will ALWAYS be an issue.
"I just do not believe."
Everytime I hear that, it is dreadful because
I know the price for not believe. I took the risk to believe
& God proved and revealed Himself to me.
Although, this fact remains true. Our hearts are blind,
and our hope is weak that we just don't want to grasp on to
Something that Might even might be true. But, for you
It can be different. You can be different. You can make a difference. With a choice to believe in Jesus who has loved you and know you all along but many of us keep rejecting Him. Now I want you to believe, I wish, I beg..but
It is your choice. What you believe is what you'll do.
I hope you choose life today. God bless and Jesus loves you so much. :)
So if everything created requires a creator, who created your God? Or are you going to simply give me the tired old line of he didn’t need to be created, he was the unmoved mover? Spiraling into an infinite regress is certainly no way to solve the deepest issues of life and our universe. Attempting to escape that regress by making a non sequitur that God is real is absolutely no answer at all. If we were to prescribe to your logic God would have to be even more complex then anything he hoped to create, and we end up with an increasing complexity and still no understanding. To say that everything we know and see is created and requires a creator is to limit your understanding. You have to look beyond such a simplistic view when trying to understand the greater complexity of life. I do have to point out the irony of mentioning that a son is a proof of a father, not a big fan of the immaculate conception?
The brilliance and simplicity of Charles Darwin was being able to show us exactly how something spectacular and marvelous could come out of simply beginnings. How with great amounts of time and change the more simplistic life can eventually change and evolve into the wide variety and complexity of life that we now see. There are absolutely no realistic arguments to propose creation. Evolution is so widely accepted around the world and the scientific community that it is endlessly frustrating to have to deal with these bible thumpers in the USA that want to close their eyes to all science and evidence and keep chanting their mantra of “God did it all”. How can someone stifle themselves so much to completely ignore all logical evidence and say a 2,000 year old book written by ignorant sheep herders has better answers? How can people actively seek to deceive themselves instead of simply looking at the evidence right in front of their faces? It is absolutely idiotic.
What makes you speculate that I have any “emptiness in my heart” as you call it? I am perfectly happy with my life. I am even more happy with the fact that I don’t have to try and offer up endless praise to an imaginary father in the sky or be burdened with the possibility of eternal hell. I am able to focus and concentrate on this life right here. It is the only thing that we know exists for sure and to focus on the “next life” absolutely demeans it. Perhaps everything you do in life is for yourself, I certainly don’t agree to be lumped into that classification. There are a great number of things each and every day that I, and most realistic people, do entirely for others. Family, friends, co-workers, or simply out of charity to complete strangers. I’m guess you’re not the type of person to give a dollar to a homeless veteran digging in trash for cans? Sorry but I am, and I would give even more if I realistically could.
Perhaps if your endless search is for unconditional love I could suggest having a child, or maybe you can just get a puppy. Investing all of this “love” into an imaginary being that does not reciprocate in any way really doesn’t do much. You can imagine and have feelings that it does but how is it any different from a Muslim who has unconditional love for the prophet Muhammad? Religious experiences are not unique and to assume that yours is the one true correct religion requires a level of ego I could never hope to posses. Imagining these voices talking to you as well may be a sign of deeper issues, you sure you don’t want to be checked?
As for what you see to always be the “1” problem, how is it a risk for you to believe? It is much more of a risk to try and stand on your own and think for yourself and to cast off the oppressive nature of religion and not jump into their group mentality. Being an Atheist requires a much greater deal of courage but is much more rewarding in it’s intellectual honesty. It does not require any illogical leaps of faith. Using word games and imploring people with the idea of “love” is one of the absolute lowest ways to possibly appeal to someone. I have absolutely no respect for people that turn to that type of appeal. Simply because you want something to be real does nothing to prove it’s validity. Those that attempt to preach to others disgust me, but those that attempt to preach to those that actively reject their ludicrous ideas are doing nothing more then wasting their time and revealing their own insecurities.
So if everything created requires a creator, who created your God? Or are you going to simply give me the tired old line...
