Due to constant misunderstanding with my name I feel the need to change my intro. I am hateful, hateful of religion. I hate what religion does to people and that people use it as an excuse to not think. I have spent many years of my life as an Atheist and have learned to handle my emotions, but no other word quite describes how I feel towards religion short of hate. I am outspoken, open minded, and will share my opinion. If you're looking for someone who will always agree with you, that won't be me.

Question with 3 notes

Anonymous asked: That water evaporation thing? Are they trying to guess when the oceans will not be salt water anymore or what? It doesn't make any sense.

It doesn’t make any sense really. Best I can tell from a brief google search it is based on an idea originally posted on the Answers in Genesis’s website mostly supported by Dr. Frank DeRemer. Basically Dr. Frank doesn’t really understand science but knows enough to create a faulty argument. The whole argument for them boils down to this. “Salt goes in the ocean, not a lot of salt comes out of the ocean. If the world was really old the oceans would be so salty and nothing could live there.” Of course the way they arrive at this conclusion involves leaps and bounds of illogical conclusions not taking in to account numerous factors. If you have any interest in looking in to the discussion feel free but far better scientists than I could ever hope to be have already spent a great deal of time and effort to explain why the earth is the age it is.
