Due to constant misunderstanding with my name I feel the need to change my intro. I am hateful, hateful of religion. I hate what religion does to people and that people use it as an excuse to not think. I have spent many years of my life as an Atheist and have learned to handle my emotions, but no other word quite describes how I feel towards religion short of hate. I am outspoken, open minded, and will share my opinion. If you're looking for someone who will always agree with you, that won't be me.

stolendimes asked: Have you read about Bay Minette, AL purposing to offer non-violent offenders a choice between jail or going to church every Sunday for a year? I thought you would find it as interesting as I did.

When I first saw it I actually made a post about it right away. It seemed to spread across the internet quickly in general and even though I didn’t post a follow up I was glad to see one last week. It turns out they decided to put a hold on their plan and “review” it with lawyers to determine if it was legal or not. You would think that would be something they would look into and consider before implementing such a policy. Apparently the backlash from the internet was such a shock to the tiny town they had to react. Who says the internet doesn’t get stuff done. :)
