Due to constant misunderstanding with my name I feel the need to change my intro. I am hateful, hateful of religion. I hate what religion does to people and that people use it as an excuse to not think. I have spent many years of my life as an Atheist and have learned to handle my emotions, but no other word quite describes how I feel towards religion short of hate. I am outspoken, open minded, and will share my opinion. If you're looking for someone who will always agree with you, that won't be me.

Post with 4 notes

So it’s Friday night and I’m sitting around drinking a beer, and watching the History channel special I DVR’d about the Garden of Eden. Even when I try and relaxe and party I’m a dork. I just want to say thank you to everyone for all the comments regarding the ridiculous debate I had earlier. Oddly enough even after going off on him we continued to discuss back and forth in paragraph sized posts. He still drove me nuts, but it did allow me the time to explain to him why I thought he was an idiot, which really made me feel a lot better. He continued to discuss with me, and with it established why I thought he was an idiot. I referenced it a few times throughout. He’d occasionally use it as a point to moan about as me being childish but it was really pretty insane. Eventually some other people took notice of the huge discussion and sort of turned on him, and for some reason a trend of calling him a “turd” caught on. Either way in the end, he was a ridiculous crack pot, and everyone else who was willing to speak up during our debate seemed to want to tell him that as well. We put it on pause for now, but plan to continue on. I think it’s pointless because of the way he debates, he’s very evasive, constantly shifting from one point to the other. Twisting things to extremes, claiming I’ve never at any point even considered the idea of God, I only like to listen to people who agree with my view points, and continued repeatedly to try and remind of how close minded I am, and open minded he is. Neither of those assumptions of his are even close to true. We also got on the topic of him being homophobic, which he wasn’t able to deny(or admit to, to be fair), but he admitted he is completely against gay marriage, but yet he’s “open minded”. Anyways, venting, since it was literally a 9 hour (on and off during that time) 100+ comment debate, even when I realize I’m arguing with an idiot, I just can’t seem to give it up. I can’t have him present a challenge, a “counter point” as he sees it, and not try to expose him even more as a fool. Especially since he attempted to declare at one point that I “lost” and was going to be losing sleep over him. Anyways, I’m just rambling to vent, it’s the beer.
